Shipping Policy

Order Processing

All orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation and payment confirmation emails. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped with a tracking number from the shipping carrier and option to receive SMS updates.

Unfortunately during high shipment volume periods, we may take longer to ship out and the shipping carrier may experience delays in their delivery times.

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

For simple flat rate shipping: We charge $9.99+ for flat-rate, ground shipping to the continental U.S.A. with the exception of cast nets ($25 per net) and landing nets ($40 per net). Estimated shipping time is 2-6 business days from the day of pick-up by the carrier.

In-store Pickup

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at Tarpon Fishing Outfitters and Tampa Fishing Outfitters tackle shops. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1 to 2 business days. We will contact you when your order is ready along with instructions.

Our in-store pickup hours are 9AM - 6PM every day of the week, except holidays. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come. The Tarpon's store address is 1500 US Highway 19, Holiday, FL and phone number is (727) 935-7258. Tampa's store address is 3916 W Osborne Ave, Tampa, FL 33614 and phone number is (813)870-1234.

 

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

If you haven’t received your order within 5 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at [email protected] with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

You can also log into your account to check on the status.

 

Shipping to P.O. boxes

To ship to a PO box, the shipping station will select USPS as the carrier.

 

Refunds, returns, and exchanges

We accept returns up to 30 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return.

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at [email protected] with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
